For who ?

They say the road to success is to persist. Never give up no matter the challenges.
They say that you must have connections, be popular. You must use opportunities, look out for them and be in the right place, the right moment.
To be successful you have to change who you are. Be the kind of person who wins.
You must step on others, the weak, the unlucky, the broken...

You must give up yourself.

But yes, of course, by doing all this, you can become rich and powerful and you can have everything you ever wanted.

Is it really worth it ?

I dream of wastelands. Huge empty forests with no human for miles and miles. Return to the roots. Live and hunt and farm. Everything simple.

Why did I not go yet ? 

Why do I keep trying to conform ? 

Why do I let them change who I am ?
